Abu Dhabi Nov 6th, 2012- National Ambulance pre-hospital team provided coverage for the second year-round at the most talked-about Formula 1 event. The 5-day event took place from the 1st of November to the 5th of November 2012 at Yas Marina Circuit.
There were 81 pre-hospital care medics from National Ambulance posted, with a mass pre-briefing conducted prior to the commencement of the event. The event saw a daily crowd of 5000-8000 people.
The Silver Commander in charge said: “The team worked meticulously in a timely manner when handling the minor incidents that occurred. We are very proud of our team who ensured the event went through unhampered during the marginal casualties, and also to those who worked behind the scenes in putting the logistics together. We look forward to working together with F1 Yas Marina again”.
Yas Marina Circuit is the second Formula One track in the Middle East.
