Abu Dhabi, 22 October 2019: In line with International Infection Prevention Week, National Ambulance Clinical Services and NA Youth Council launched a campaign to raise awareness amongst staff about the importance of infection prevention.
Under this year’s theme, ‘Vaccines is everyone’s business’, the campaign stresses the importance of vaccines in infection prevention, as well as actions such as: hand hygiene and coughing and sneezing etiquette.
National Ambulance also announced that it was providing flu vaccination to all its staff. Identified by UAE medical authorities as a health priority, the vaccinations will help prevent flu infections for staff, especially those providing emergency medical services to the community.
