National Search and Rescue and National Ambulance Conclude F1® Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024

Abu Dhabi, 11 December 2024: The National Search and Rescue Centre and National Ambulance concluded their participation in the Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024, which took place at Yas Marina Circuit from December 5-8, 2024.

During the event, search and rescue teams, along with ambulance crews, were strategically stationed across the circuit. These teams were equipped with cutting-edge technology and medical equipment to provide emergency response and ensure comprehensive coverage across the medical center and the circuit’s facilities, maintaining the highest safety standards.

The National Search and Rescue Centre participated with an air ambulance helicopter, staffed by a specialized medical team ready to provide support as needed. Simultaneously, National Ambulance deployed a team of over 50 experts, along with 15 emergency vehicles, to ensure comprehensive medical coverage.

For the eleventh consecutive year, National Ambulance has delivered emergency medical support for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, underscoring its commitment to high-efficiency and professional services. The team is present year-round at Yas Marina Circuit, managing the medical center and supporting all events hosted at the circuit.

The participation of the National Search and Rescue Centre and National Ambulance in this global event highlights their pivotal role in supporting national events. It reaffirms the National Guard's mission to protect lives and enhance community safety, aligning with the leadership's vision of achieving high standards of safety and preparedness for all national and international occasions.
