Federal Authority for Ambulance and Civil Defence Participates in the Military Police Exhibition for Combating Drugs and Cybercrimes
The Federal Authority for Ambulance and Civil Defence is participating in the Military Police Exhibition for Combating Drugs and Cybercrimes, organized by the UAE Ministry of Defence, in its fourth edition at Zayed Military City in Abu Dhabi, running until 4 February 2025, with the aim of enhancing public health awareness and strengthening community preparedness to respond to emergency situations. The participation includes a dedicated booth showcasing the latest technologies and medical equipment in line with international best standards, while highlighting the capabilities in effective emergency response, promoting health awareness, and spreading ambulance and first aid culture, contributing to improved community readiness in handling emergency cases. In addition, the Authority is delivering awareness lectures on pre-hospital emergency response to medical cases resulting from drug abuse or medication overdose, aiming to educate the public on recognizing critical warning signs and symptoms, applying appropriate first aid procedures until ambulance teams arrive, and enhancing prevention awareness.
